operational file

In accordance with the directive on records, statistics and administrative files of the Directorate I of the Ministry of Interior, operational files were kept in these categories:

• objects (state authorities, political parties, intelligence services, counterintelligence, emigration, people as well as buildings, etc.)
• agency operational environment (to centralise documents)
• connections with rezidenturas or various operational communications (materials not related to the buildings)
• active and influential measures (documents necessary for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of active and influential measures)
• documentary material (from the point of view of the needs of the Section 18 of Directorate I and the Section 59 of Directorate I)
